Who we are

VEXECS ("we", "us") is an executive advisory firm, and vexecs.com is the website through which both organizations and executives contact us. VEXECS is the controller of the personal information described in this policy.

Questions about this policy, or about information we hold, can be sent to hello@vexecs.com.

Information we collect

  • Organization inquiries. Your name, work contact details, company information and the description of the challenge you submit, together with any document you choose to attach.
  • Executive registrations. The details you provide about your background, experience, interests, availability, location and compensation preferences, and any biography or CV you attach. This is covered in more detail in the Executive Network Privacy Notice.
  • General contact messages. Your name, email address, company and the content of your message.
  • Technical information. Standard server and delivery information such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, collected by our hosting provider to operate and secure the site.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and this site is not directed at children.

How we use it

  • To respond to inquiries and messages.
  • To understand a challenge and identify appropriate executive leadership for it.
  • To contact executives in the network about relevant engagements, conversations and events.
  • To administer engagements we manage, including contracting and invoicing.
  • To operate, secure and improve the website.
  • To meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations.

We rely on your consent where you have given it, on our legitimate interest in operating an advisory business and maintaining an executive network, and on the performance of a contract where an engagement is underway.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell, rent or license personal information.
  • We do not publish executive profiles or make the network searchable by third parties.
  • We do not share an executive's details with an organization without an appropriate conversation first.
  • We do not use your information to train third-party machine learning models.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only where it is necessary: with service providers who host this site, deliver our email and manage our client records; with an executive or client where both parties have agreed to an introduction; and with professional advisers or authorities where the law requires it. Service providers act on our instructions and are bound to protect the information.

Some providers operate outside your country. Where information is transferred internationally we take steps to ensure it remains protected to an equivalent standard.

How long we keep it

Organization inquiries are retained for as long as needed to respond and, where an engagement follows, for the period required by our contractual and tax obligations. Executive registrations are retained for as long as you wish to remain part of the network, and are reviewed periodically. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Security

Information submitted through this site is transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored with reputable providers. Access is limited to people at VEXECS who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we encourage you not to include highly sensitive commercial detail in a first message — a conversation is a better place for it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, receive a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent. Residents of Nevada, California, the EEA and the United Kingdom have specific statutory rights, and we will honor them regardless of where you are located.

To exercise any of these, email hello@vexecs.com. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

Cookies

This site uses only what is necessary to function. Where analytics are introduced, they will be described in the Cookie Notice and configured to respect your choices.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change, and will revise the date shown above. Material changes affecting the executive network will be communicated directly to members.
