Executive Network Privacy Notice

Many members of the VEXECS network are in permanent roles when they register, or are considering their next move privately. Discretion is not a feature we offer on request — it is how the network is built. This notice sets out exactly what happens to what you tell us.

It sits alongside our general Privacy Policy. Where the two differ in relation to the executive network, this notice applies.

• Your registration is never publicly displayed. There is no public directory, no profile page and no searchable listing of members.
• The network is not a product. We do not sell, rent, license or share the member list with anyone, in whole or in part.
• Nothing is sent to an organization without a conversation with you. We describe roles to you before we describe you to a client, and your name is not put forward until you agree.
• Your current employer is not contacted. Registering with VEXECS is not a signal we pass on to anyone.
• Contact has a reason. We approach members about specific engagements, conversations, roundtables and events — not on a marketing schedule.
• You are in control. Update your availability, change what you are interested in, pause contact, or ask to be removed entirely. All of it takes one email.

The details you submit through the registration form: your name and contact details, current and most recent executive titles, function, location and time zone, the industries, company stages, sizes and ownership structures you have worked in, the engagements that interest you, your approximate availability, geographic and travel preferences, any compensation ranges you choose to share, notes about your strengths, existing commitments and potential conflicts, and any biography or CV you attach.

We also keep a record of our conversations with you, so we do not ask you the same questions repeatedly and so that introductions are informed by more than a form.

Only what you complete is stored. Almost every field is optional.

The registration form saves your answers to your browser's local storage as you type, so a long form survives an interruption. That draft stays on your device and is not transmitted to us until you submit the form. Choosing "Start again" on the form, or clearing your browser data, removes it.

• To decide whether a specific engagement is genuinely relevant to you before we contact you.
• To introduce you to an organization, once you have agreed to that introduction.
• To invite you to roundtables, events and conversations within the network.
• To share research and writing where you have said you want it.
• To administer an engagement where VEXECS contracts with you directly.

We rely on your consent, given when you register, and on our legitimate interest in operating an executive network. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting anything that happened before.

Information you give us about existing commitments or potential conflicts is used only to avoid putting you in an awkward position. We will not disclose the identity of your other engagements to a client, and we expect the same discretion in return.

Email network@vexecs.com with what you would like changed. There is no form to complete and no retention conversation. If you ask to be removed, we delete your registration and any attachment, retaining only what we are legally required to keep in connection with a past engagement.

For as long as you want to be part of the network. We review registrations periodically and will check in rather than hold details indefinitely without contact.
